On this Friday, I think I will post my favorite Taka Boom track in "Night Dancin'". This song was included as the leading single off of her 1979 self-titled debut album. I was happy to find this record when I visited my hometown of Sacramento, Ca. this past summer. For those that don't know, Taka Boom, who's name is really Yvonne Stevens, is the sister of Chaka Khan. Even though I think "Night Dancin'" is by far the best track off of her self-titled record, I also find myself enjoying other album cuts like "Red Hot" and "Cloud Dancer".
